About Yakov

I've had intense interest in history for almost the entire last decade.

History has become my minor in college, while my major is Political Science, a major that has a lot to do with history.

As a former high schooler in NYC who passed the US and World History regents with a 96 and 95 respectively, I can make the same possible for you.

History has been my favorite subject all my life and I feel very confident about studying or teaching it, like fish in the water.

People around me, friends and family, have known about my expertise in the field and have asked me questions or have held discussions with me regarding history.

-I've scored high marks on state tests for history.

-I am minoring in history.

About the lesson

Either I talk about the subject to find out where the holes are for me to fill in, or I let the student talk about their knowledge of the subject for the same results.

High school aged students.

It's good to hire someone who has a decent level of expertise in the field while being closer to the age of the student, someone who remembers what its like to be in their shoes not that long ago, with the additional rememberance of the educational system that provides the information.
