About Mariah

I feel that my services stand out because I bring a very unique background to the table. Within my 22 years' of experience with horses, I have never had a strong financial force supporting my passion for riding and competing. Therefore, I had to be creative and efficient with my practices to get myself where I wanted ot be.

I learned how to teach myself much of what was learned with trainers to save on lesson time and rode as much as possible for free. Along with that, I would purchase cheap horses who had potential that just maybe had a few extra quirks and put the time in to train them into the horse I wanted.

Any chance I had to groom for a trainer at a horse show or at home, I took it so that I could learn how everyone runs their business. I've learned a lot about what I liked and didn't like and of course, what worked and what didn't work.

I feel my experience as an "underdog" in the horse world gave me an "outside looking in" view, which I feel is something that is missing in the equine industry. I practice with appreciation and respect for the horses and expect that out of each rider.

I enjoy being able to bring along the next generation of equestrians with a solid and charactered skill set. It brings me such a sense of satisfaction when I finally fix that bad lead change through countless training sessions or when I finally get that "perfect jump" out of a green horse.

The ability to see all of the hard work come together is hands down the best part of being an equestrian. It's what has driven my passion for the last 22 years.
