About DeMarkus

My name is DeMarkus Jones and I am a lifelong martial artist. I started in Chun Kuk Do Karate at the age of 8. Achieving the rank of 1st Dan at the age of 18. After obtaining my black belt in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do I began to venture outside my comfort zone. First studying Muay Thai and kickboxing before discovering my true love BOXING. I fell in love with the sport instantly. I have now been boxing for 7 years and training people for 5 years. As a true gym rat I took every opportunity I could to learn from my coaches Lou Savarese and Dwight Pratchett. Both of whom were excellent professionals boxers as well as coaches. Throughout my pugilistic career I was lucky enough to have great mentors who took an interest in me as a person. I was more than just another student to them. Something that I learned and pass on to my students as well. I will create an experience that is catered totally to you and your individual needs. Using boxing as the means to achieve your goals.

5 years boxing coaching experience

12 years martial arts teaching experience

Experienced with kids as well as adults

Current certified USA Boxing Coach

3rd Degree Kickstart Blackbelt

1st degree Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do Blackbelt

I love teaching. Boxing is my passion however I truly believe teaching is my purpose. Nothing feels more gratifying than the look on someone's face when they have conquered a new skill. I live for those moments.
