About Malissa

MK Protection Strategies offers education on crime prevention awareness, personal protection and self defense strategies. Unfortunately, statistics show that the majority of the population have no personal self defense strategy to leverage if they find themselves in a compromising situation. We empower all of our clients with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to protect themselves in a variety of threatening situations. To accomplish this, we offer workshops in personal protection, home defense, auto safety, physical self defense and active shooter/violent intruder emergency training. In addition to one on one coaching, we take our services to you by facilitating learning and live drill sessions in schools, businesses, and other various types of organizations. To take your personal protection to the next level, we also make a wide assortment of safety and self defense products available for purchase both at our in person sessions and online through our website.

Founder Malissa Misch is an NRA Certified Instructor and ALICE Training Institute Certified Instructor in various personal protection strategies.

We partner with SAFE International Managing Director, William Stedman, to co-facilitate a variety of our course offerings.

We get the greatest satisfaction from hearing our students tell us that they are significantly more confident in their personal safety strategy after our time together.

We started our business to empower people to feel confident defending themselves in threatening situations.

Our self-defense instructor is a certified partner with SAFE International. We teach reality based self-defense that focuses on awareness, avoidance, verbal de-escalation and physical self-defense strategies. Our firearms instructor is female and is USCCA and an NRA certified instructor in three different disciplines. We are passionate about empowering all people, but especially women to defend themselves and their familes.
