About Adnan

Hello everyone! I'm Adnan Ismail, and I'm currently a second year student at UC Berkeley majoring in Bioengineering. While I'm not too far removed from high school myself, I do have experience tutoring students since my junior year of high school, tutoring students on campus in various science and math courses, like AP Chemistry and AP Calculus AB/BC. As a tutor, I feel my job is to be as accommodating to the student as possible so that they can understand the material as easily as possible. Taking the time to help students reach the level they strive for in understanding and being patient with them is critical for their overall success, and I want to make that happen as a tutor. Whether it be to supplement the material that is taught in class, or to teach a new lesson plan, I am here for the student no matter their needs.

I have lots of experience with science and math courses as I have been fully immersed in them and have had a deep passion for STEM since the beginning of middle school. Studying and excelling in my current major of bioengineering requires me to have a clear, in-depth understanding of these subjects, and ever since high school I sought out and took multiple college level math and science courses. As stated earlier, I also do have quite a bit of experience tutoring students in various math and science courses, so I am more than comfortable with teaching students the coursework in these subjects.
