About Benjamin
Want to rebuild your foundation and comfort in math from the ground up? If you always felt like you "never got it" or "math just isn't your thing" -- stop right there! Math is a tool and a language with power and beauty, and WE can work together to help you accomplish your learning goals.
I am a recent graduate of Princeton University, where I concentrated in Geophysics, and have tutored math off and on since 2017, mostly for SAT and college prep. I am currently teaching K-12 through an AmeriCorps service program and have availibility to tutor part time.
I love helping people change their paradigm of what they can master and understand, and work to promote a growth mindset. By focusing on the MEANING and PURPOSE behind concepts, I hope to inspire people to be excited to learn, to feel that their capacity to understand and question has been expanded, and that their tools to measure, interpret, and communicate the world around them have been sharpened.
