About Maithilee
My main goal is to help students understand mathematical topics and grasp the meaning behind their use before delving deep into the mathematics. This way they understand why a topic is being taught and also have a better time solving problems.
I have always loved math and science. Mathematics to me has always been the one subject which I could depend on since it always had unique and exact answers. I am student of Science and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Physics. Physics greatly depends on mathematics to help understand the physical phenomena happening around us. Math helps convey abstract ideas and physical laws as mathematical expressions which then can be solved to get concerted answers.
Mathematics is beautiful and unique. Being able to solve complex looking problems brings about a joy unlike anything else. And this joy and exhilaration one gets after solving problems is another reason why I love math.
I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and I am currently enrolled for a Masters in Physics at Illinois Institute of Technology.

I would first talk to the student to see where they stand on the subject and their view on it as well.
I will then start the tutoring and depending on the grasping capability of the student, I will alter my mode of communication to help them understand much better. This mode of communication may vary. It could explaining through diagrams, or by explaining the concept using examples of everyday activities.
