I like to know what the student needs excactly. Whenever engaging with a new student, it is vital to understand the needs and goals of the student. After knowing that, I can develop my plan around the student.
I have worked with primarily middle and elementary students.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A student should always think about what they, they student, needs. The education system is very mechanical and systematic and hard for students to adapt to who do not fit into its machine. Therefore, it can be hard for a student to consider their individual needs and goals. A student should know what they personally need help with.
