Working tirelessly to enable students of all ages to overcome barriers to success in mathematics, with a strong emphasis of content understanding over arithimetic memorization. Here are some highlights in my career:
- Instructor of Record at SFSU Math Department for 3 years.
- One of the developers of new math cirriculum to implement Executive Order 1110 at SFSU (freshmen deveopmental math)
- Worked one-on-one with students in SFUSD (middle school age), in particular with students who are immigrants and have learning differences.
- Worked as a contractor for the Department of Public Health to tutor students with Individual Education Plans.

Masters GPA: 3.8/4.0
I am currently working on a PhD in Learning Sciences at University of Illinois at Chicago, with a specialty in Mathematics Education.
