About Valerie

We are the number 1 math only learning center in America. We offer an individualized program for each student. We assess each student to determine their strengths and weaknesses and we meet them where their skill level is and build them up to become more confident in their math skills and abilities. We also offer test prep for ISEE and STAAR.

I love see the success of the students, especially when that light bulb goes on and they get a concept they have been struggling with. As an educator and administrator for 27 years, I truly believe in Mathnasium and the Mathnasium way for teaching math to help students understand number concepts and connect them. We make Math Make Sense.

I am a certified teacher with 27 years experience as a teacher and administrator. Our instructors have all successfully completed the Mathnasium Instructor Assessment and have been trained in teaching the Mathnasium Method. They have all had background checks and are monitored closely by the Center Director.

The first step is to get to know the student by talking with them and assessing their skill level. Once we have completed our assessment, we put together a learning plan to develop their skills. We work with students that are struggling and students that want to get ahead. 



We have worked with students that are above their grade level and students that are not on grade level. We have also worked with students that have some learning differences that make if difficult to understand math.
