About Cameron

Hello! I am currently interning in Portland for a semiconductor company, and looking to pick up some extra pay helping tutor. I recently graduated from Northwestern (top 10 university in the US) with my BS and I'm returning next year for my MS, both in Computer Engineering. I was also a collegiate baseball player before the pandemic, got a 34 on my ACT, an 800 on SAT Math II and have some experience teaching. I will be here until the beginning of September.

I love to learn, but it can be really tough if you're feeling like you're not getting the support you need and getting pointed in the right direction. I've always enjoyed being able to help others succeed and to give them confidence in their ability to learn and tackle hard problems.



I've worked with students as young as 1st grade instructing robotics, all the way up to tutoring my collegiate baseball teammates in their computer science courses.

As someone who recently finished an engineering degree, I know all about what it's like to struggle with some of the tough concepts Math and Science can throw at you. I always make sure that we give you a good, foundational understanding of the subject matter before we go any deeper. I'm personally a visual learner, so I understand any need for examples that incorporate a visual component. More than anything, I want to make sure you walk away feeling like you've got the right knowledge base to tackle any problem a teacher/professor might throw at you.
