About Brenda
My passion is to teach students. I love seeing them grow in their understanding of Math and learn to solve problems by themselves. I studied Math Education at Cal State Dominguez Hills University. I tutor Math MIddle School and Elementary, as well as HIgh School and College. these are the subjects I tutor Algebra1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Calculus 1. I am bilingual (Spanish-English)
I have been tutoring for about 15 years, online and in-person in the South Bay area.
I focus on the students weaknesses, and I help them to become better in those areas, so they can gain confidence. I like to ask them questions to make sure they understand. Also I always ask them if they have any doubts about something that they don't understand, I don't mind to repeat as many times until they get it.
