About Tiffany

I strive to help students understand math and enjoy it. Not everyone loves math but if you understand it better it's definitely more fun!

I love helping students have "ah ha!" moments! When it finally clicks and becomes something to prove they can do and not just something they have to do.

I decided to switch from corporate America after having children. Teaching is what I'm passionate about and Math is what I love!

I have been a Middle School Math teacher for 6 years. Before i worked as a math interventionist at a high school. I've also worked in corporate America in finance and HR so it's easy ti make math relatable to the real world.

Set meeting place and time. What grade is the student currently in? Do they struggle with previous or current curriculum? I'll give a pre-test to determine skills needed to improve on.

From elementary to Algebra 2.

Find someone that you click with! It's ok if it's bit a fit. What works best for you may be different than another!

My students really enjoy having instruction that not only teaches them math but also test  and note taking strategies.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your specific needs? Where do you get confused? Being able to communicate about what you need is crucial.
