About Siddhesh
I approach tutoring in a more long term way. If you need help in a math concept for some homework, I won't just explain enough to do the homework, I try to deliver the concept in a way that makes sense to the student so that next time they need help they feel confident on trying it on their own.
I worked at Kumon for a year from 2017 to 2018 as a Math Instructor where I got the opportunity to learn techniques on how to teach various math concepts to kids from kindergarten all the way to high school.

When starting with a new student I always make sure to know beforehand what I am getting into in terms of what concepts they need help with and how comfortable they feel with the subject matter. Knowing this allows me to be able to assess how in-depth I need to go to explain a concept to a student so as to not waste their time and money over-explaining a concept. I also make the session more of a conversation. The student has to feel free to disagree with me and challenge what I teach them if they want to because I believe the best way to learn STEM subjects is through a discussion of the concepts.
