About Sam
8 years of tutoring experience and specializes in math and sciences!
Completion of math (up to Calculus 3 Honors) at Purdue University
Enjoys teaching and have taught all subjects of math up to AP Calculus.
Learning should be at least a bit enjoyable for students!

There is nothing more frustrating about not being able to even start a math problem! That is actually the hardest part about math in which students struggle with!! Once you learn all the different methods in tackling the problem, you may actually enjoy math a bit more!!
Worked at an after school program for 8 years for math and sciences and also private tutored several homes during the summers.

I always ask a couple of questions regarding the math the student needs help on. Usually I take a question from a textbook from different chapters and it helps me see which topics we can go over. I first have to evaluate the the amount of math my student is strong and weak with.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Teaching information is one thing but trying to understand how the student feels is essential for learning. If you feel that your teacher doesn't understand how you feel or the way your thought process works then he/she is not doing a great job!!
