About Shion
As a rising sophomore MIT student and former captain of several academic high school clubs, I believe it is my duty to help others academically and push them to excel. I have taught many of my underclassmen in my high school Science Olympiad team the material needed to do well in competition--our team placed a historic second in the State competition contributed by my efforts. I have also helped many of my peers at MIT in my classes understand the material better. I am confident in my skills to help tutor math and science to students.
The one thing that makes me love teaching others is the "aha!" moment they have after drilling a concept. The satisfaction I get from helping students get to that point is an incredible feeling.
