About Paul

I have no formal education in teaching, but teaching was a significant part of my medical practice.  I have been teaching in a local adult education program and Iregularly answer math questions online.

I prefer to work with a student in person.  I will meet with a student at a mutually convenient place, e.g. local library.  However, since the pandemic online tutoring is necessary and I have finally found a mechanism for doing so.

I like to know (preferably ahead of time) in what areas the student is having trouble.

It is important to me that my student not become frustrated with math.  For this reason I usually make my e-mail address and cell phone number available so that my student can contact me with questions or problems.
