About Brianna

Hey students! I am a former "gifted and talented" student, now all ggrown up looking to help today's students thrive! I was lucky to have graduated before the pandemic, but I can truly see how school life has changed for all the students now. It must be a struggle. I hope to be able to genuinely help some students get an extra push so they can succeed to their full potential. I was always the friend that my peers turned to to help them with their work and explain the lessons in a way that they might better be able to understand. I believe my different ways of being able to look at things really makes it easy to teach all different types of people with different learning styles.

First, I like to get to know the student a little bit to see if I can determine what their learning style is. I will ask them what kinds of things distract them, and what kinds of things grab their attention and use that to determine how I should best tutor them and teach them.

I have most of my experience helping my peers in classes in high school. I was the one most kids turned to when they could not really understand the lesson when the teacher taught it. I generally did a really good job explaining things in a way that they did understand.
