About Alyssa
I'm a freshman in high school, so it wasn't long ago since I was in elementary. Even though I might be young, I understand the struggle and frustration younger kids go through. I still remember the teachers explaining math in the most confusing ways. I want to help kids become confident in math, and teach them to love this useful tool. I've always had straight As and I'm part of the math team.
I started teaching in middle school. One of my neighbors asked me to help her kid, and I enjoyed doing it.
I'm a freshman in high school, but I've been a part of the math team, and I've taught neighbors and younger students before.

I see what their current unit is and grasp their understanding of the content. From there I form lessons and practice sheets to work on their weaknesses and confusions.
I have worked with many elementary students, but they are usually on the younger side.
