About Ross
I love, love, love tutoring and seeing students overcome their hang ups with math. I have been doing online tutoring for about 10 years (8 years in Chicago, 2 years in Utah). I do my best to identify the best methodology and approach on how to teach concepts to my students. I personalize my teaching style based on these observation and I utilize repetitive examples that gradually scales in difficulty to challenge my students. My hope is for them to not only catch up with school, but to keep up, and stay ahead especially in Math. I have a lot of energy and very enthusiastic on what I do. I would be very happy to offer my services!

I generally chat with them one on one for about 15-30 minutes and I also talk to their parents for about the same time so I can assess what I can do to help and maximize my effectiveness. Then I give some math problems just below their grade level, then problems in their grade level, then finally problems just above their grade level to see where they're at.

I highly recommend Ross as a tutor. My son is in honors high school math and Ross broke down the complex concepts for better understanding. My son felt more confident going into tests knowing he worked with Ross.
Ross was able to meet twice a week with my daughter to get her where she needed to be for math during her freshman year! He even helped her with biology when needed or for last-minute questions before exams! Highly recommend! We will be using him over the summer to stay ahead of the game for next year!
