About Mollie

I always new that I wanted to be a teacher, my 1st year of college I became a college tutor at an elementary school and that's when I knew that it was the perfect job for me. Helping students reach their goals is an accomplishment not only for them but for me as well. I continued with my part time job as a college tutor and I'm still tutoring, it's been 4 years already. I also started substituting and it has now been 2 years. I also worked summer school and I'm currently in the education program in college, which I will be graduating soon.

I enjoy teaching students, I enjoy seeing them succeed in school. My goal for every student I work with is to help them get to where they want to be and even further in education. I want every student I work with to be positive about a homework/exam that is coming up, I would want them to feel confident. I try my best to help students get to where they want to be and honestly it is a great feeling knowing that I am doing a good thing in helping students further their education and not have to worry about falling behind. It's amazing seeing a student reach their goals in school and it's great how I'm the one who helped them get there.

I was a freshman in college and I got a part time job as a college tutor.

I'm am currently majoring in Education with two minors in Special Education and Kinesiology. Also, I have been working as a college tutor for 4 years in an elementary school and substituing for 2 years.

About the lesson

Understand the students' issues with the subject and show ways in which they can then understand. I would want to help the student learn and succeed.

I've worked in resource, special education and regular classrooms, as well as summer school. I've worked with students who have learning disabilities and students who just have a difficult time learning a subject.

Look for someone who is experienced and who is willing to do all that they can to help a student succeed with a positive mindset.

I worked with a student who had trouble learning, I did all that I could to help that student be ready for the benchmark exam and they passed.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should be honest and talk to the teacher in detail of what they feel is hard for them to learn so that the teacher can focus on their needs.
