About Andrew

I actually care about my students. Not just academically, but as human beings as a whole. I have tons of students who adore me because I actually care. My love and care allows me to keep trying different ways until it "clicks" for the students and their test scores are concrete results.

I have teaching experience with high school and college students. I graduated with a 4.0 in aerospace engineering and I have a Master's in Secondary Education.

Title 1 High school: alegbra applications, algebra 1. School math averages: 60%. My class averages: 80-90%.

College: teaching aide for several years in undergraduate engineering (essentially physics, calculus, and mechanics). I have also helped publish numerous papers and books.

I am the cream of the crop. If you are willing to put in the work, I guarantee that I can help you succeed.

I transitioned from aerospace engineering to education (my true passion) through Teach for America, teaching math at a Title 1 school.

I have years of experience tutoring in high school and college.

I have spent a few years working as a formal teaching aide for undergraduate engineering courses.

I have years of experience teaching high school math.

I hold a master's degree in secondary education and graduated with a 4.0 in aerospace engineering.

I am working on opening my own network of high schools.

First, we get to know each other a bit. I want to know what they are like, what helps them, what they are passionate about, and their goals. I share about who I am and what helps me help them, and I answer any questions they may have.

Next, we will set goals on what they want to achieve while working with me and what their expectations are.

Third, we get to work! :)

All backgrounds.

Poorest kids in foster homes to priviledged kids in wealthy neighborhoods.

Geniuses to kids with learning disabilities.

They all improve.

Find someone who actually cares about you as a human being.

Receiving a visit from one of my students who went to juvenile detention who was able to complete calculus during his time there because of my inspiration and care.
