About Erin
I have been tutoring for over 3 years and I have tutored over 6 different subjects. I have taught all grades and I am comfortable working with all ages.
I love being able to help a student gain confidence in their academic abilities. I am always happy to know that a student can learn skills from me that will aid them for the rest of their academic career.
I got started teaching my Freshman year of High School because my school's tutoring program reached out to me.
I have always maintained straight A's in school and I worked as a tutor through a program my High School offered.

For the first session I like to take the time to get to know the student and get their input on where they struggle. It is important to get to know the student so that I can teach them in a way that will resonate with them. Once I understand where the student struggles I can put together a lesson plan.
I would advise a student to have a conversation with their parents about what classes they are struggling with and what they would like to gain from tutoring. I would also suggest that the student makes a list of specific things they would like to learn from their teacher prior to their first session.

Perfect! Erin is always punctual for the classes and puts in lot of energy and effort in teaching the kids. She is also good with teaching math and english to my elementary school kids.

Details
I typically charge $15 to $25 per 45 minute session. If the student would like to prolong the session then I charge $10 for every extra 30 minutes. My prices are always negotiable if the family of the student is unable to meet my prices.
