About Kirk
I started tutoring for my highschool math and physics classes in 2017. Since then I have continued to tutor for these topics with the additions of english, biology, human anatomy and physiology, and economics.
I am studying Economics, Applied Mathematics, and Philosophy at CSULB. Since 2017 I have been a peer tutor for my friends and those in my neighborhood, typically for math and science.

I have worked primarily with middle and high school age students but I am comfortable working with students of any age or special needs.
After a teacher demonstrates adequate understanding of the content then personality and interaction matter much more for learning. Just like how not every medical situation needs an ER doctor, not every class needs a tutor that has experience significantly beyond the course material.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The biggest is evaluating whether you struggle with the content or the ability to focus on the content. Some people only need to sit down with someone for them to get the work done well. Others have problems with the material and need support for it.
