Presenter at National Council of Teachers of Math Regional Conference. Consulted and co-authored mathematics textbooks.

Began working in inner city public schools as a substitute, then taught grade 6, all subjects, grades 4-5 math/science for gifted students. Finally, middle school math teacher in suburban New York.

Masters Degree in mathematics instruction, plus more than 30 years experience teaching as well as individual tutoring.

About the lesson

Assessment followed by instruction tailored to students' strengths and weaknesses. Analysis of error patterns to determine if gaps or misconceptions exist.

All levels and abilities. Learning disabilities and attention issues are a specialty.
