About Hector
I did my undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh, achieving a 1st class degree. I have an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London and will be starting a PhD at University of East Anglia in the autumn. My personal academic interests are based around a mixture of poetry, philosophy and political economy. Professionally, I have lots of experience tutoring a range of pupils of all backgrounds, levels and abilities. Most of my recent clients have not been native English speakers, which has given me training and insight into teaching English as a second language. I also volunteer with a tutoring charity, called Action Tutoring, which works to offer additional help to disadvantaged children.
