About Philadelphia

We are a 4,000 sq./ft. full scale gym with everything you would find in a traditional gym. The only difference is we only do one thing and that is one-on-one personal training and only by appointment. We start off with an hour-long evaluation that is done by our owner to figure out exactly where you are and what is needed to get you the results you want. Than you set up your appointment and work with former profession athlete ACE certified personal trainer with over 28 years’ experience Marian Hajioannou. She is our Fitness Director and take care of all the training sessions at our place.

Our place is run by a husband a wife team that only do one thing and one thing only personal training. Combined they have over 50 years’ experience as personal trainers. Pondeli Hajioannou came up with this concept of a private gym with no distractions many years ago while working in gym in the Delaware Valley. In Philadelphia Private Gym they have no staff at all to bother clients and no one walking the floor using equipment at wile like in a gym. All that is in this private gym are clients and trainers doing one on one personal training. Six days a week from 5 am they are working with clients helping them achieve the bodies they dreamed of. Philadelphia Private Gym is the only private gym in the Philadelphia area. It has been open since 2000 and since has served people from New Jersey, Center City, Suburbs and our very own Bensalem.

I start by finding out all about you and to do that I need to do an evaluation. I use a medical program to help me figure things out and part of the program is developed by NASA to help me figure out body fat percentages. I know it may sound a little much but after training people for over 30 years the more information I can get the easier it is for.  This is the same approach I take when I work an elite athlete, high profile business owner or a celebrity and I like to treat all my client the same as I feel we all deserve the same treatment.

You have to call ((concealed information)) and I will explain what you need to do to prepare yourself for the evaluation. From this we will come up with the best workout just for you. Normally they take an hour and they are free and I am the owner and I do them myself.

We are priced right for what we do. It is expensive to hire a seasoned certified personal trainer with a track record. If you are shopping price I can understand and wish you the best of luck.

We do hour long sessions and in that hour long session you will get a 30 minute workout. What that means in our private gym you will never see anyone using our equipment doing extra workouts etc… You will come in at your time and 60 minutes later be done and that will include your warm up/cardio, one on one personal training session and a hand on stretching out by our trainer who trained you.
