About Kevin
I am a professional photographer with eight years of experience in New York City. I attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography. I am also completing my degreee at Seattle Pacific University in Visiual Communications. I have eight years of experience as a professonal retoucher and have worked with companies like Ralph Lauren, Dior, and Target. I absolutley adore teaching students photography, photoshop, or lightroom. I am capable of helping students at any level and I look forward to speaking with you!
I began tutoring my fellow photography students with photoshop and lightroom as I exceled with these programs. After gaining more experience in photography, photoshop, and lightroom I began to tutor professionals and hobbyists alike in a multitude of photography topics.

I begin with open communication when working with a new student. I enjoy seeing students progress. The fundamentals of photography including composition, manual settings, white balance, and file formats can be trickey to understand. I receive joy when I get to see a topic "click" with my students and I strive to create as many of those moments as possible. I have photographer over 150 weddings and events throughout the country and love the field of photography and I enjoy sharing this field with others.
I have worked with students with a wide range of experience levels. I have tutored hobbist as well as professional photographers.
For students looking to hire a photography/editing tutor, I would reccomend finding a tutor who is very capable of all of the skills that you are looking to learn. Also, it is important to find a tutor that you "click" with. Photography should be fun and enjoyable and tutoring is no acception to that.
A recent event I am fond of would be a recent wedding I photographed. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with the Adirondack mountains in the distance and a couple that was very passionate about photography.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I feel that the only questions students should think through before contacting a tutor is what general topics you would like covered.
