About Beth

Teaching music is our passion! We not only love playing and listening to music – our passion is teaching music and helping our students grow, develop and reach their musical potential. Nothing excites us more than watching our students reach their goals and seeing their sense of pride and accomplishment in doing so.

Our teachers are dedicated to teaching and nurturing the potential of every student we work with. Our teaching staff consists of trained musicians who either possess music degrees or are working toward their music degree.

Our program was designed by teachers with extensive experience working with students of all ages and abilities. Maestro Music teachers know how to motivate and inspire students. We understand the long-term value of music education, not only as it relates to academic excellence but the lifetime personal fulfillment and enjoyment it provides.

What is your (the student) style of learning? What are your (the student) musical goals? What is your level of commitment to learning a particular instrument? These are a few basic things you should know about yourself (or your child if you're hiring a teacher for your child) before making the first call to a teacher to interview them.

When interviewing a teacher, it really should be much more than just price. If you're serious about learning music (or having your kids learn music), you should find a teacher that's equally serious about teaching.

Not every person that wants to learn music begins study with the expectation that they're going to be a professional musician who makes it "big", and that's perfectly fine. Music is for everyone on whatever level that student is willing and interested in participating.

If you're just wanting an "extra-curricular" activity for your kids afterschool to fill the time till you pick them up for work and you're not really planning on being that involved, you might consider group lessons to get them started until you determine their level of interest and how much time and effort you're willing to invest in their musical education.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your (the student) personal musical goals? What are your musical interests? What do you hope to gain from private lesson study? How much time are you (the student) willing to commit to practice, daily, weekly?

People choose to study music for different reasons, so you should feel free to take the time to explore what your reasons for wanting to study music. What do you hope to gain from it? There's no right answer, but it should be right for you.
