About Natalie

I am from a family of teachers. Tutoring is different than teaching, you need to review another persons lessons and outcome and match that persons style. It is similar to advising. my job is to help you understand what you professor wants and to ensure you submit quality work and grasp the material.

I have a Bachelors in Psychology, a Master's in College Counseling and Student Development and I have worked for 5 years as an Academic Advisor at the college level. I have a combined 12 years of current training and practice as well as experience in teaching and tutoring from my current role in the last 5 years.

About the lesson

I start by looking at what their current class is, what the current assignments are, and we focus on the critical areas. Then if there is time we can play catch up if they have fallen behind.
