About Leslie

During college, I was going to school full time and decided to work in a High School as an AVID tutor, just for part time. Working in a school and helping students improve academically was really rewarding, this sparked my interest in teaching.

I have a Bachelor's in Spanish.

About the lesson

I offer a discounted trial class to discuss with the student their goals and why they are intersted to learn Spanish. An informal, brief assesment is given to the student to note at what level is their Spanish. Afterwards, lessons are created based on the students needs, desired goals, and interest.

I have worked with students of all ages: 4-60 years old. Also, with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I love to travel and learn about different cultures. India is one of the countries I have traveled to recently. The fondest memory I have from India is being taught Indian sign language by my deaf friends.
