About Duncan

I'm a 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo certified internationally through the World Taekwondo Federation (Kukkiwon/Gukkiwon) with over 10 years of experience, having done demonstrations in both the US and Korea. I also hold a 2nd-degree black belt in Hapkido, as well as a 1st-degree black belt instructor certification in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). In the Marines, I have instructed, tested, and belted men and women of all ages, experience levels and backgrounds. I hold minor belts in Choi lei fut Kung fu, Krav Maga, Wing Chun Kung fu, and Haidong Gumdo.

Through hard work, dedication, and above all consistent training I can and will bring any student to a working and functional efficiency in a variety of martial arts techniques suitable for competition, self-defense, and fitness purposes.

Martial arts have become and integral part of my life, from the age of 15 I have trained consistently to better myself and my peers in several martial arts systems. This has done wonders for my work ethic, self confidence, and fitness. A strong martial arts foundation can set the tone not only for your physical state, but mental and spiritual well being as well.

Empowering my students is my first priority, if I have helped even one of my students to protect themselves or their loved ones in a safe and efficient manner then I have done my job well.
