About Tom
Private Self-Defense Instruction
One-on-one, tailored self-defense training for people who want to feel safe, confident, and capable.
I am a credentialed instructor with over twenty years of teaching and coaching experience and multiple black belts across several disciplines. His private sessions are built around you — your body, your situation, your goals. No filler, no "do 50 push-ups before we start." Just practical, no-nonsense self-defense taught by someone who has been doing this for a long time.
What you can expect:
Personalized instruction matched to your experience level
Real-world scenarios, not choreographed forms
Techniques that work regardless of size or strength
A safe, judgment-free environment to build confidence
Clear, progressive skill-building week over week
Credentials & Experience:
25 Years Teaching Martial Arts and Self Defense
Multiple Black Belts — Aikido, Taekwondo, Karate
20 Years Teaching Adult Education with Credentials in 2 States
Creator of World-Famous Educational YouTube Channel
I'm a born teacher, and I love bringing out the bold in people. Self-defense isn't about being the strongest person in the room — it's about knowing what to do when it matters. I'll get you there.

Perfect! We did one introductory lesson. He related well with my daughter and had good activities for her to try out. He broke down the steps and explained what she needed to do.
