About Chandler

With a passion for mathematics that borders on obsession, I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise with students looking to conquer the world of algebra, pre-calculus, and college preparation.

My tutoring philosophy is simple yet effective: foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and inspire a love for learning that extends far beyond the classroom. I believe that math is not just about numbers; it's a powerful tool that opens doors to endless possibilities.

I understand that each student learns differently, and I have an unwavering commitment to student success, which is why I tailor my approach to meet individual needs. There are many who doubt -- but believe me, math CAN be fun and rewarding!

If you're ready to embark on a math adventure, I invite you to join me in exploring the fascinating world of mathematical wonders -- all I ask is that you come ready to learn with an open mind!

About the lesson

I offer a tailored learning experience to meet each individual's unique learning needs to ensure an effective and enjoyable learning journey.

My typical lesson plan includes:

- Basic Concept Review
- Problem Solving Practice (Both together and the student individually)
- Application Exercises where we apply topics to real-world scenarios or college preparation problems
- Feedback and Q&A
- Homework Assignments (Optional)

What sets me apart?

My unique combination of expertise in advanced mathematics, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and a 7- year career in Data analytics has given me not only a strong foundation in the subject matter, but also real-world experience that I can bring to my tutoring sessions.

My approach is not just about teaching concepts, but also about showing how math is applied in various fields, making it more relevant and engaging for my students!

Math can be a tricky subject, so my goal for every tutoring session is to make mathematics more accessible and enjoyable for my students!

My lessons are for anyone who may need them, even adults -- but I aim to teach specifically Kindergarten - 12th Grade.
