About Dr Dara
I am an Associate Professor in Forensic Psychology, with a BSc, MSc, and PhD in the field, as well as a PGCert in Higher Education. My main area of expertise is in Forensic Psychology and Research Methods (quantitative analysis). I have experience in lecturing (including MSc and BSc course leadership) and Research (with over 40 journal article publications). I take pride in my ability to make teaching and learning fun and easy to digest. No topic or task is too difficult for any student to learn with the right support.

I can deliver sessions on specific topics and theories or provide tailored support for assessments. Lessons can range between 1 to 2 hours depending on the needs of the student. I can tailor tutoring towards BSc and MSc students, as well as tutoring for PhD students and academic staff wanting to develop research skills. I can teach the disciplines of Psychology, Criminology and Statistics. Please note that I cannot teach students at my current University for contractual reasons (can be confirmed via preliminary discussion). My teaching is informed by years of experience working in academia (as both a researcher and lecturer). I have experience lecturing undergraduate and postgraduate students in Statistics, Forensic Psychology, Social and Personality Psychology and Criminology. I have also supervised a number of PhD students. In terms of qualifications: I have a PhD in Psychology, an MSc in Investigative Psychology (Forensic BPS accredited) with Distinction. I also have a BSc (hons) in Psychology (First Class). I also have a PGCert in Higher Education and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
