About the lesson

Our adventure begins with Visual Studio Code (VS Code), a versatile code editor that will be your trusty companion as we explore the vast landscape of web and app development. We'll start by laying a solid foundation in HTML, mastering basic tags, creating tables, forms, and even integrating Google Maps into your projects.

Once you're comfortable with HTML, we'll dive into the realm of CSS, where you'll discover the power of classes, IDs, CSS properties, CSS grid rules, and media queries to make your creations come to life.

JavaScript will be our next stop, where we'll explore its basics and understand its role in enhancing the interactivity of your websites and applications. We'll then venture into the world of jQuery, a versatile JavaScript library that simplifies complex tasks.

To complete your toolkit, we'll explore Bootstrap, a front-end framework that streamlines the design and development process, making your projects look polished and professional.

And if you're interested in PHP, I've got you covered there too. We'll embark on a PHP journey starting with an introduction to the language, opening and managing pages, exploring conditional statements and arithmetic operations, mastering loops, and connecting to databases. We'll delve into database operations like insert, update, view, and delete, and even tackle the essential topic of user authentication with a comprehensive login process. You'll also learn how to customize templates and, as a culmination, work on a basic website project.
