About Cecile
I'm an L1-certified CRLA (College Reading & Learning Association) international tutor with over five years of technical writing, market research, and data analysis experience and over six years of business development and communications experience. I have competent work experience as a writing tutor for international and Canadian undergraduate and postgraduate students while studying a postgraduate in Professional Writing & Communication at Humber College. Before “hitting the ground running”, I pay close attention to listen and understand the critical needs of the student first so that I can create an approach that’s tailor-fit to the student’s learning curve rather than having a fixed/templated approach of mentoring. I believe that mentoring should be tailored based on the student’s needs to be able to have more impactful results since everyone has different competencies, needs and learning curves.
