About Magdalina

With a background in both psychology and acting, I bring a unique ability to connect with people across different stages and areas of life. My work spans film, TV, stage, radio plays, and live performance, including work at the Oxford Playhouse, on Road of Honour (NOVA TV), and in documentary series for Bulgarian National Television. I also have casting experience with major Hollywood-based companies, providing a well-rounded perspective on both performance and selection processes. I have trained in over 50 acting techniques, which I use to support creative expression, role preparation, and personal transformation. In addition, I have training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Drama Therapy and Child Psychology, which I integrate into my work to deepen emotional access and support growth. My approach is rooted in emotional depth, creativity, and a deep understanding of the human experience.

About the lesson

Each session is completely tailored to you - whether you’re preparing for drama school, just starting out with acting, a working actor, or simply curious to explore something new. I support everyone, at any stage of their journey. We can work on monologues, improvisation, emotional access, voice, presence, unlocking a sense of play and self-expression, as well as self-taping, drama school preparation, and audition coaching. Whether you want to build confidence, get performance-ready, or just enjoy the creative process, our work together will always be guided by what you need most.

I’ve tried quite a bit of tutors ahead of drama school preparation, but all of my sessions with Maggie have been very different to what I’ve experienced before. The method and approach to teaching she uses combines different elements of acting/life/self-exploration that just flow into one another. I definitely recommend if you want a unique experience
