About Jessica

Hello! I am a qualified and experienced teacher with a passion for helping children build confidence and succeed in English. I have worked with primary-aged pupils in the classroom and understand how important it is to make learning both enjoyable and accessible.

I take a patient, supportive, and encouraging approach, adapting my teaching to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style. My aim is to help children feel confident in their abilities, whether they are developing their reading skills, improving their writing, or strengthening their grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

I believe that children learn best when they feel relaxed and supported, so I create a positive learning environment where they are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and celebrate their progress.

My goal is not only to help pupils improve in English, but also to help them develop a lasting confidence and enjoyment of the subject.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar, while also helping children develop confidence in expressing their ideas.

I take a patient and encouraging approach, making sure each child feels comfortable and supported at their own pace. Lessons are structured but flexible, often using a variety of activities to keep learning enjoyable and accessible. I offer hourly lessons at £30 or 30 minute lessons at £15.

Whether your child needs help catching up, building confidence, or stretching their skills further, I adapt my teaching to suit their level and learning style. My aim is always to help children feel more confident and capable in English, both in school and beyond.
