I am a New York City artist who has been trained to teach Art Therapy, and Fine Art classes. I studied at Cooper Union in High school, setting my my foundation deep in the art world. I later studied at Seton Hall University from 2011-2015. In that time I took fine art courses such as, paint I, II, Drawing I, II, Collage, Children & the Visual Arts, Print Making(intaglio), water color and many other fine art courses. I also interned at the Stephen Gaynor School for students with learning disabilities for a year as an art therapy assistant. I believe in empowering students to express their emotions and learn the foundations of Fine Art.
I have been giving private lessons for four years.
I have taught 35 students.
My students have achieved basic knowledge of Art History, they have learned to sketch and identify shadowing, color and how art can help express emotions. I am happy to say that many of my students with learning differences have found an outlet to express themselves.
I have a Bachlorrors in Fine Art & Anthropology.
I have won the fine art award at Seton Hall University in 2015
I have taught students with learning differences for over a year as an art therapy assistant.
