About Kenneth
Teaching music is often less about perfection and more about the raw expression of a melody. Sometimes I worry that students focus too much on speed instead of the story within the scales and modes. We will cover grade exam prep while keeping the soul of the instrument front and center.
Strumming patterns are the heartbeat of performance. Advanced learners find that these rhythms offer a new depth. Hobbyists appreciate the steady pace.
Performance-focused students will find plenty to challenge them. It is quite fun to see those transitions finally click into place.

Growing up in a home where the rhythm of a bolero echoed off the walls shaped my musical identity. The smell of cedar wood from my first guitar reminds me of those early days spent finding the pulse of flamenco. My formal path led me to the Queensland Conservatorium for a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music followed by a Licenciatura in Argentina. These 13 years of experience have solidified my approach to power chords, fingerpicking, and complex chord transitions.
I enjoy helping self-taught players find structural clarity in their playing. Music theory is just a map to the sounds we already feel. Reading sheet music and mastering barre chords come next. It is all about the movement of the hands.
