About Alice
Hello! I'm Alice, an English and Theatre graduate from the University of Warwick, where I achieved First Class Honours. I am now completing an MSt in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford.
My academic journey includes Grade 9s in both English Literature and Language at GCSE, followed by top A-Levels in English, History and Theatre. I'm passionate about sharing the strategies and techniques that helped me succeed – from foundational GCSE skills to advanced analytical methods that earn top grades. As a practising playwright and theatre company founder, I bring creativity and real-world writing experience to my teaching. With experience across English Literature, Language and academic writing, I create personalised strategies that build both technical skills and creative confidence. At GCSE and A-Level, I focus on mastering essay structure, textual analysis, and exam technique. For university students, I provide advanced guidance on research, essay structure and scholarly writing. Every student learns differently. I identify individual strengths and areas for growth with patience and understanding. Through a supportive approach, I aim to help students gain the confidence they need to excel academically, while fostering both creative thinking and analytical skills.
