About Tania
Hello there, my name is Tania Barvarz. I have acquired a First Class Honours in BA English with Creative Writing from Brunel University London. I have been doing many forms of tuition over the last 5 years, and am seeking to tutor full-time as I find it a thoroughly rewarding experience!
As of 2022, I will begin a Masters in Linguistics. Currently, I am working on publishing my poetry collection: ‘Visual Poetry of the Trichotomy: Mind, Body, and Soul’.

Previously, I have worked with ‘Kumon’, a supplementary education provider that adopts Japanese methods in teaching Maths and English, as an English instructor for students of variable ages and abilities from their first stages of repeating familiar words to developing their critical reading. I have also volunteered as a reading mentor for students transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7, tackling confidence issues when speaking, and other Speech and Language difficulties by adjusting my tutoring style to the needs of each student. I currently tutor KS1, KS2, and KS3 at the Southall Tuition Centre.
After each lesson, there will be homework set with feedback provided to the student corresponding to this. The student should reflect upon this feedback in order to excel in that particular topic. Each homework should take no longer than one hour to complete to balance out with school homework.
