About Sophie

Undergraduate degree in English Literature & Philosophy joint honours, and first class Masters degree in Philosophy. I have been published and have helped multiple people go from a 2:1 to a first in their university essays - including dissertations.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to the individual and their needs. I would offer in person lessons, Skype sessions, or phone calls - whatever the student prefers. I focus on essay writing so could also do over email if preferred.

Perfect! Sophie is an exceptional and extremely thorough tutor. I have worked with her for a few months and can honestly say that I have progressed and learned so much from my time with her. She is more than willing to tailor the session to the student's needs and answer any questions they may have. I would definitely recommend her!

Perfect! Sophie is an excellent tutor with great exam revision strategies as well as essay strategies. She helped me relax and focus on what was most important first which helped not get overwhelmed with the amount of work I had. I will continue to see Sophie as I had such a great experience with her. It is the first time I can say that I think I have done well in my exam. I definitely recommend. :)

Travel costs are negotiable dependent on location. I would simply ask for the cost of travel be covered, but would not charge extra for the journey time if it is within zone 2 of London.
