About Andreas
Originally from Amsterdam, I went up to Oxford (Magdalen College) in 2017, ultimately graduating with a First in Classics and Modern Greek. Upon finishing my exams, I moved back to the continent: I have lived in Paris since October 2022, where I have been working various jobs as well as studying French literature and philosophy in my spare time. I am due to start an MPhil in Politics and International Studies at Cambridge (Christ's College), next year -- meaning not only that I know both application processes first-hand, but that I know how to write for different academic subjects at university level.

My tutorial style stands out for its versatility and scope: while I aim for structured, stimulating and interactive lessons, in large part I let myself be guided by the input from my students. In this regard, my teaching style is rather close to that of Oxbridge tutorials, a system which I know inside out.
In addition to Classics, I also provide tutorials in Philosophy, Political Science, Literary Criticism, and Modern French Literature.
While a great deal of my tutoring is at the university (entry) level, I also have three years of formal experience teaching secondary students, both in classroom settings and 1-on-1.
