About Doulton
I am a first-class graduate in social sciences and now write project proposals for a UK charity. Alongside my university studies, I volunteered my tutoring services at several London schools, coaching GCSE and A-Level English. Throughout my studies and now in my day-to-day work, I specialise in placing detailed ideas into a concise, structured text. This skill did not come naturally to me and I have since developed techniques that I would love to share with you.

Studying GCSE or A-Level English and requiring help structuring your essays? Wanting to talk through key ideas and thinkers in sociology with a social sciences graduate? My individually-tailored lessons might appeal to you.
WHAT LESSONS WILL LOOK LIKE:
Lessons are student-focussed, deciding together on topics to explore and making the classic texts (not often page-turners) appropriate for the modern reader. They are 70/140 minutes long, consisting of two 30 minute sessions, with a 15 minute break in between.
MY BACKGROUND:
I have 9 months experience of tutoring in London schools at GCSE and A-Level standard. I achieved a grade A in A-Level English Literature and studied International Development and Social Anthropology at university, achieving a first-class award. I now work as a professional bid writer for a UK charity, specialising in writing captivating proposals to secure funding for projects.
ENGLISH GCSE/A-LEVEL TUITION:
If you are/are the parent of a GCSE student who wants to explore the effect of similes, metaphors, and alliteration on the reader or a student/parent of a student navigating the tricky terrain of A-Level English Literature please get in contact.
A-LEVEL SOCIOLOGY TUITION
Equally, if you are an A-Level sociology student and want to get to grips with the works of Durkheim, Marx, Weber, Simmel I would love to be of service.
