About Timeea

English can feel intimidating, especially when it involves analysing texts, structuring essays, or preparing for exams, and I remember how important clear guidance and encouragement were in my own learning. Through achieving top grades in English and tutoring students at different stages, I have seen how understanding develops when lessons are calm, supportive, and clearly structured. I enjoy breaking down difficult ideas, answering questions, and helping students feel more comfortable expressing their thoughts in writing and discussion. Teaching gives me the opportunity to support students not just academically, but personally, by helping them feel more confident in their abilities. My aim is always to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel listened to, supported, and motivated to improve at their own pace.

About the lesson

I am a first-year law student with extensive experience tutoring English Language and Literature at all levels. I worked at a tuition centre for over a year, teaching students across KS2 to GCSE, and have several years of prior private tutoring experience. Academically, I achieved a Grade 9 in both GCSE English Language and English Literature, as well as A* and A grades at A-Level in English, EPQ, French, and Religious Studies. My academic background has strengthened my skills in critical reading, structured writing, and clear explanation. My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student. I focus on building strong foundations in English while helping students gain confidence and develop effective exam techniques. For GCSE students, I place strong emphasis on exam technique, teaching students how to approach questions, analyse texts effectively, and write high-level responses. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing time for skill development, practice, and review. Session length can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs.
