About Sarah

I'm a credentialed educator with 10 years of ESL teaching experience and a genuine passion for helping people communicate with confidence.

Over the years I've worked with learners of every level — from young children to international business professionals — which has taught me how to adapt my approach to fit each student's goals, pace, and background.

My qualifications include:

TEFL Certification — specialized training in teaching English as a foreign language
MBA — business expertise that makes me especially effective with professionals navigating English in the workplace
Master of Arts (MA) in International Economics — deep understanding of global business and the contexts my international students work in
Virginia Teaching Certification — state-licensed, with the classroom rigor and professionalism that comes with it

What sets my lessons apart is the combination of real teaching credentials and real business experience. I don't just correct grammar — I help you use English the way you actually need it, whether that's leading a meeting, acing an interview, or simply feeling at ease in everyday conversation.

I'd love to learn about your goals and build a plan to get you there. Let's get started.

Hi, I'm Sarah— an ESL teacher with 10 years of experience helping people speak English clearly and confidently. I've taught everyone from young learners to international business professionals, so I know how to meet you exactly where you are.

If you're a working professional, your time is limited and your goals are specific: nail a presentation, sound polished on video calls, write sharper emails, or finally stop second-guessing your grammar in meetings. My lessons are built around your real situations — not a generic textbook.

What you can expect:

Practical, immediately usable English — we work on the emails, calls, and conversations you actually have at work

A personalized plan based on your goals, industry, and current level

Real conversation practice in a relaxed, judgment-free setting so you build genuine fluency and confidence

Flexible online scheduling that fits around a busy professional life

Whether you want to advance your career, work comfortably with international colleagues, or simply feel at ease speaking English, I'll help you get there faster than you'd expect.
