About Sophie
I want to teach to help others; I feel no one should have to struggle through anything, and that’s why I am here to help. I want to help you turn ‘unsure’ into ‘confident’! GCSE English helps you in all areas of life, and students should always have access to help that ensures they are set up effectively to take those exams. I have achieved my GCSEs and then my A levels (in the subjects of Classical Civilisation, Politics and Law) and am currently studying at the University of Edinburgh

Whatever you want to do, propose it to me and I’ll help! We will work with passages or areas you enjoy, to get the most out of your subject and these sessions! No one should ever be stuck and worried about where to go next, so I am prepared to help you with that and get your English running smoothly.
The lessons will typically be an hour of learning, and enjoyment is the key thing I strive for; lessons will be catered to you, for you! I love working with all ages to help set them up for whatever they are striving to achieve, and my experience of the GCSE and A Level exams being so recent can definitely help me give you the most up to date advice!
