About Nancy
I learned Spanish while living in Peru for 1.5 years. During that time, I only lived with native speakers who spoke little to no English. After returning from Peru, I completed upper level Spanish courses in college and received As in all of those classes.

My teaching approach is focused on immersion. Even though I studied Spanish all through middle school and high school, I didn't really learn the language until I was immersed in it. I spend the majority of my lessons speaking in Spanish and encouraging my students to do the same, while I teach them grammar and vocabulary.
I am happy to teach in-person lessons and wear a mask.
